Committees & Cells (AICTE Mandatory)

Aishwarya College of Engineering and Technology has constituted various statutory and non-statutory committees and cells as mandated by AICTE and other regulatory bodies. These committees ensure a safe, inclusive, disciplined, and student-centric academic environment while promoting equality, welfare, and holistic development.

Anti-Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted in accordance with AICTE and UGC guidelines to prevent ragging and ensure a safe and fear-free campus environment.

Objectives:
  • To prevent and prohibit ragging in any form
  • To create awareness about the consequences of ragging
  • To monitor and address ragging-related complaints promptly
  • To ensure strict disciplinary action against offenders

The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy toward ragging.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

The Internal Complaints Committee is established to address grievances related to workplace and campus-related issues in a fair and confidential manner.

Objectives:
  • To provide a safe mechanism for grievance redressal
  • To ensure impartial and transparent handling of complaints
  • To promote a respectful and professional campus environment
  • To protect the rights and dignity of all stakeholders

SC / ST Committee

The SC / ST Committee is formed to safeguard the interests and welfare of students belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities.

Objectives:
  • To ensure equal opportunities and non-discrimination
  • To address grievances related to social and academic issues
  • To create awareness of welfare schemes and scholarships
  • To promote social justice and inclusive education

Women Empowerment Cell

The Women Empowerment Cell focuses on promoting gender equality, safety, and empowerment of women students and staff.

Objectives:
  • To create awareness about women’s rights and responsibilities
  • To encourage leadership and confidence among women
  • To organize awareness programs, workshops, and counseling sessions
  • To provide support and guidance to women students

Sexual Harassment Redressal Committee

The Sexual Harassment Redressal Committee is constituted as per statutory guidelines to prevent and address incidents of sexual harassment on campus.

Objectives:
  • To ensure a safe and dignified environment for women
  • To handle complaints confidentially and impartially
  • To create awareness on gender sensitivity and legal provisions
  • To take appropriate disciplinary action against offenders

Equal Opportunity Cell

The Equal Opportunity Cell works to ensure fairness, equity, and inclusiveness for all students and staff members.

Mental Health & Yoga Committee

The Mental Health & Yoga Committee promotes emotional well-being, stress management, and healthy living among students and staff.

Hostel Committee

The Hostel Committee oversees the effective functioning of hostel facilities and ensures discipline, safety, and student welfare in hostels.

The NCC / NSS / YRC Committee encourages student participation in national service and social responsibility activities.
